Tomorrow in Portage, Indiana, Srbijada—the largest soccer tournament of the Serbian and Balkan community in North America—kicks off, and FC Dinara arrives with one single goal: to win it!
Our boys are ready. The team that won the Chicago Indoor Euroleague last winter and narrowly missed the Premier Soccer League Chicago title has gelled together. They enter Srbijada with a strong desire to show over two grueling tournament days that they have both the quality and strength to go all the way.
The challenges begin early tomorrow morning. Dinara’s first team plays its opening match at 8:30 AM—a massive derby right out of the gate against the New Jersey White Eagles, a team that won Srbijada a few years back and is a six-time trophy winner.
The match will take place on Field 4 at the Elite Soccer Complex (2945 Samuelson Rd, Portage, IN 46368).
At the same time, our young veterans, the Dinara Over-30 team, also hold high ambitions. They start their competition against the Windsor Serbs at 11:00 AM on Field 7.
We invite all fans to come out tomorrow to support Dinara and help us reach Sunday’s title battles. On our end, we promise a fierce fight and heart on the pitch!

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
- 08:30 — OPEN: Dinara vs. White Eagles (NJ), Field 4
- 11:00 — 30+: Windsor Serbs vs. Dinara, Field 7
- 11:50 — OPEN: Dinara vs. Windsor Serbs, Field 4
- 14:20 — 30+: Dinara vs. NY Serbia, Field 1
- 15:10 — OPEN: Dinara vs. White Eagles (IN), Field 4
- 16:50 — 30+: Dinara vs. FK Republika Srpska Hamilton, Field 2
The host of this year’s Srbijada, FK Republika Srpska, announced the participation of teams from across America and Canada, along with special guests—22 young soccer players from OFK DIF Kosovska Mitrovica. Visiting the USA for the first time, they will compete for victory at the tournament and participate in a special program where they will have the chance to explore Chicago and the surrounding area, visit Serbian churches and monasteries, and connect with peers from our community.
